Differentially Expressed Genes |
|
| |
| Differential Expression (DE) genes could be identified using log-ratio based on log-ratio and 1-sample test. DE genes would be separated into two groups of up-regulated gene group and down-regulated gene group according to each gene’s expression level. In the following example, we got 34 up-regulated genes and 12 down-regulated genes in this case. |

| Class Discovery |
| The basic methodology for class discovery is clustering. DE genes would be classified into different groups by orthological similarity and validated by gene annotations. Gene pattern and array pattern could be clustered in the same chart, so that it could attribute to peering the samples with the most similar expressed ways, as well as genes. |
